Mix & Match and Touchers had a good game throughout finished tied, Falcons finished with yet another win whilst Spitfires disposed of Wavy Navy handily.
Winners then of the championship FALCONS suffering only two losses all season. Team of Bill Falconer, skip, Andrea Stadnyk, Grace Vlacious and Bev Jamieson, presented with plate suitably engraved. Everyone then enjoyed an evening of pizza and wings at a local hostelry. The retiring president Bob O'Neil was thanked and presented with a gift on behalf of the shortmat membership.

Wavy Navy had a closer game than usual but Mix & Match were too good. The ladies of No Frills played very well and deserved to beat Touchers whilst the Falcons continue to fly high with a convincing win over Spitfires.

Falcons winning and Touchers losing cemented the league championship. Falcons easily handled No Frills as did Mix & Match over Touchers. Spitfires had a close game with Wavy Navy. RESULTS from March 4th, 2004

NO FRILLS 15 V 16 MIX & MATCH
Spitfires came back from 12-0 down to tie with a four on last end.Wavy Navy were sunk by Falcons whilst in an exciting finish Mix & Match pulled off a win in the last end.

Falcons are drawing away as league leaders, winning a close match against Mix & Match. Spitfires enjoyed a comfortable win over No Frills whilst Touchers and Wavy Navy battled to a tie.

Wavy Navy had a tough time winning only 3 ends whilst losing to No Frills. Mix & Match surprised Spitfires coming back from 11-17 down winning 8 points in last 3 ends to win. Falcons always in control winning comfortably over Touchers.

Spitfires started well but then Falcons overhauled them, scoring steadily with one's and two's. Touchers scored on 9 of the 16 ends to come out winners over No Frills. Tight game between Wavy Navy and Mix & Match being tied on 14th end but Mix and Match came up with three points in last two ends to win.

Exciting game between Touchers and Mix and Match with Touchers winning with last bowl on last end. Wavy Navy doubled up on Spitfires taking 6 points in last two ends. Falcons roll on with good win over No Frills.
